Pre-Use Inspection Requirements

Every nylon flat webbing sling requires a visual inspection before each lift. The appointed lifting supervisor must check the full sling body for cuts, abrasion wear, chemical staining, heat damage, and UV degradation along the webbing surface. Inspect both eye loops at the bearing point where contact with the crane hook occurs, as this area takes the highest load concentration during every lift cycle.
